We started out the season with the famous Youth Hunt. This year we went on a water hunt, which was a blast. There were a ton of ducks, and I believe I heard the fathers say that the kids went through over "150" shots. If this is true or not I am not sure but I know the kids had fun and they were able to get some ducks.

Royal Rock Farm would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Safe travels to all. Here's a little something to brighten your holidays! Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the kennel. Not a creature was stirring, not even Emma or Bella. The stockings were hung by the stalls and kennels with care. In hopes that St. Nicholas (with doggie bones and apples)soon would be there. The "fur" children were all nestled tight in there beds, while images of ducks and geese flashed in their heads. |

Well its the time we all were regreting, duck hunting is over. This last weekend we ended the season with some lake duck hunts. Mike and Tommy came up from Indiana. It was a fun filled weekend and it was very nice to relax. Now it is time to finish up the goose hunting and then start ice fishing. We would like to say thank you all for a great season full of many memorable moments. Hope everyone has a great holiday season!

This weekend was a very exciting weekend. We had a large group of hunters up from Illinois and some from Indiana. Shared many laughs and some cold beers! On Monday night Boyd and I had a nice hunt together. We had six geese land in the decoys and almost walked on top of us!Ol Miller was wondering what we were doing, so I finally had to shoot one so he could retrieve it. Guess thats a whole new meaning for camoflauge. I had my two geese within fifteen minutes. It was very nice to have my personalized hunt with my hubby! |

Hello Everyone, Just an update on the season. We started out the season with a great youth hunt weekend! Those boys sure are good shooters and hard workers. Thanks to a few of the boys I was able to get some landscaping done. The season has continued with hunts every weekend. Having great luck with geese and the ducks are beginning to come around! The puppies are growing fast. All the English Pointers have found homes and all but three of the German Short Hairs have homes. My brother had a litter of lab puppies out of our Trapper dog (which many of you have had the opportunity to hunt over), we have two black males left call if interested. Well I think that pretty much wraps it up, enjoy your week. God Bless.
